1/27/18 – Dr. Deni Seymour, Speaker
The Patagonia Museum held our annual meeting on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:30 am in the Patagonia Public Library. The business meeting included the election of the Board of Trustees and was followed by a talk on “Apaches and their Horses” delivered by Archaeologist Dr. Deni Seymour.
The slate of officers elected for the fiscal year 2018 include:
President – German Quiroga, Vice President – Robert Ollerton, Secretary – Maureen De La Ossa, Treasurer – Mary Jane Pottebaum, Curator – Linda Shore, Members At Large – Bob Bergier and Ralph Schmitt
Archaeologist Deni Seymour delivered a fascinating talk on the Apache Indian tribes that populated the local area and the role horses played in their culture. After her presentation, Dr. Seymour fielded questions from the packed house.
