  • Members Meeting – Speaker Butch Farabee

    Following a brief business meeting, Butch Farabee will speak on the history of the Southern Arizona Search and Rescue on. November 15 is the anniversary of the 1958 tragedy in the Santa Rita Mountains and the lost Boy Scouts, which initiated the establishment of the organization.

    This year the theme is Funky Formal, featuring a red-carpet entry with photo opportunities, live auction, raffle, and Golden Ocelot Awards to deserving community conservationists. Last year's fabulous first-time event raised over $10,000. This year we aim to raise 50% more to support PARA’s vital work. We hope you will attend! And please invite others, especially those unfamiliar with PARA's work, as we hope to grow our pack of PARA Watchdogs. Tickets go on sale September 20, and will be limited to 100. You may purchase your tickets online or in person at the Patagonia Trading Post at  317 McKeown.
