Patagonia Cemetery Clean up

The Patagonia Cemetery Patagonia, AZ

On Wednesday, November 9, from 1 pm to 3 pm, the Patagonia Union High School National Honor Society will honor our veterans who are interred at the Patagonia Cemetery by inspecting their grave sites, replacing any worn flags and picking up litter. The Patagonia Museum has been sponsoring this cemetery project by purchasing the US flags and assisting in the maintenance of the grounds. Museum volunteer Murphy Musick has been leading this project for many years. Volunteers are welcome to join them on Wednesday afternoon.

Highway Cleanup

We will host a highway cleanup on Thursday, December 22, at 10 am. Please meet at the ramadas on Beaty Lane and Highway 82 for a brief safety meeting.

Highway Cleanup – A Volunteer Activity

The Patagonia Museum will conduct its quarterly highway cleanup on Friday, March 17, beginning at 9:30 am. Please meet at the southwest end of Doc Mock Park, Beaty Lane and Highway 82, for a safety briefing.

Workday at the Lochiel Schoolhouse

The Lochiel Schoolhouse workday will be on Friday, March 31, from 10 am to 2 pm. Please bring water, lunch and gloves. Volunteers and visitors are welcome at this time.

Highway Cleanup

The Patagonia Museum will host a highway cleanup on Friday, June 23, at 7 am. Please meet on Beaty Lane and Highway 82 at the west end of Doc Mock Park for a safety briefing. Your tidbit of history is a photo from the Arizona Republic, January 24, 2011. Rita Beaty was the last surviving widow of an Arizona Ranger, Clarence "Chapo" Beaty. Rita and Chapo were married in 1934 and lived in Patagonia.
