Please join us for our next member meeting on December 7th at 7 PM in the Patagonia Public Library meeting room. Our guest speaker will be Doug Hocking.

He is an independent scholar who earned his master’s degree with honors in American History. He has advanced degrees in historical archaeology and social anthropology.

Doug grew up on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation among the Indios and Paisanos of the Rio Arriba (Northern New Mexico). His biography of Tom Jeffords, Tom Jeffords Friend of Cochise, won the 2018 Spur Award (finalist) from Western Writers of America and the Co-Founders Award for best history from Westerners International and he was recognized as an outstanding speaker in history with the 2017 Danielson Award from Westerners International.
